Patricia POL


 

Dr. Patricia Pol, is the former vice president for European and international development at Université Paris Est. She is currently maître de conferences in the faculty of economics and business in this university. At the same time, she is policy advisor at the Ministry of education, higher education and research, and vice chair of the Bologna Policy Forum within the framework of the EHEA Ministerial conference planned in Paris in 2018. She got her Phd in management sciences at Université Paris 1 La Sorbonne in 1996 and her teaching and research are focused on internationalization of firms, of higher education and mobility. She has developed a master in University development and management and goes on teaching in this program in French and in English. She has a long experience of evaluation of programs and institutions in France, in Europe, and outside Europe, in Africa, in Asia and in Latin America. She has been in charge of the European and international development of the French agency of evaluation of research and higher education (AERES) from 2011 to 2013 and has been much involved in the debates about the evolution of quality assurance systems in higher education and in research. She has coordinated the French Bologna expert team from 2005 to 2011 and has been much involved in the organization of seminars, workshops and conferences on quality assurance issues, doctoral mobility, learning outcomes and competences during this period. Her foreign language is C1 in English and in Spanish.
